8:46: Bernier snagged a blazing Klebom wrist shot from the left circle to keep the Avalanche in front.

10:42: Lucic bowled over J.T. Compher and then moments later, Anton Lindholm to get a rise out of the crowd. Shots on goal now even at 27-27.

13:08: A feed from the point by Matt Benning ricocheted off Strome, Caggiula and in to draw the Oilers within a goal. | COL 3, EDM 2

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: Shots on goal after 40 minutes were 25-20 for Colorado.

28.3: A turnover at the blueline resulted in a shorthanded goal by Blake Comeau. | COL 3, EDM 1

57.9: Mikko Rantanen was called for holding to put the Oilers on the power play.

57.9: The Oilers looked to have scored but it went to review to see if it had crossed the line. Caggiula chopped at the puck and it seemed to have crossed the line while in the glove of Bernier. After video review, it was determined to be a goal.

Avalanche then challenged for goaltender interference and won the challenge. Resulting in no goal.

10:49: McDavid scored to draw the Oilers back within a goal. Jonathan Bernier stopped his redirection after receiving a pass from Leon Draisaitl but he batted the rebound out of the air from close range for the goal. | COL 2, EDM 1

12:08: Samuel Girard ripped a shot from the point on the power play that beat Montoya high and doubled the Avalanche lead. | COL 2, EDM 0

13:45: On the same play, Darnell Nurse received a two-minute penalty to give Colorado its first power play of the game.

13:45: Montoya made an unbelievable glove save while flat on his stomach, gloving a shot by Mikko Rantanen and also denying the rebound.

16:56: Nikita Zadorov roofed a shot from the slot to put the Avalanche on the board first. | COL 1, EDM 0

6:43: Al Montoya made a great stop off Alexander Kerfoot who blasted a shot from the high slot.

12:53: Drake Caggiula was tripped up by Samuel Girard, giving the Oilers the game’s first power play.
