2:28: After several minutes of play in the Leafs zone, Oilers finally convert to tie the game. Kris Russell’s shot is tipped in by McDavid. | EDM 3, TOR 3
3:26: Oilers buzz around the Leafs net with a flurry of shots but Andersen stands tall to keep Toronto in front.
8:16: McDavid tried to sneak his way through the Leafs defence and very nearly did it but he was hooked by Polak, who earned a return trip to the box.

13:22: Kassian converted a quick pass from Khaira at the top of the crease glove side on Andersen to draw the Oilers back within a goal. The goal completed a Gordie Howe Hat Trick for Kassian (goal, assist and a fight). | TOR 3, EDM 2

FIRST PERIOD

4:16: Tempers flare after the whistle, especially between Martin and Zack Kassian who traded blows and each headed to the room after fighting majors. Shots on goal were 12-11 for the Leafs with just over four minutes to go in the first.
