11:42: Bryan Rust wires a shot from the right circle that rings off the crossbar behind Talbot and out. After a quick review, it was determined that it was no goal.

15:27: Milan Lucic barrelled towards the Penguins goal, fighting off a checker and despite heavy resistance was still able to get a backhand off on Pittsburgh starting netminder Matt Murray in the slot. Shots were even at 2-2 almost five minutes in.
