04:46: The Canucks thought they had closed out the game with another goal but it’s in with a high stick. Oilers still trail by one.

05:06: Oilers pressing for that tying goal but haven’t been able to connect with the twine.

10:38: Strome draws a slashing penalty and the Oilers are on the PP.

11:40: Lucic centres the puck in the middle and it deflects off a skate and to the awaiting Markstrom who covers it up.

12:11: The Oilers have a 3-on-1 rush but just could not finish. Maroon’s shot is saved by Markstrom.

14:26: Vancouver on a power play now.

16:00: Oilers outshooting the Canucks 20-13, but still trail by one.

17:58: Khaira gets a stick on a Vancouver centring pass to steer it away.

20:00: 20 minutes left in the pre-season! Oilers trail by one. Puck dropped, and here we go.

12:38: Vancouver takes another penalty. 5-on-3 for a minute.

13:39: Oilers get a power play as Henrik Sedin goes off for tripping.
