15:43: The Oilers looked to build off the penalty shot stop when San Jose received a bench minor for having too many men on the ice nearly five minutes into the final frame.

17:41: Matt Benning hauled down Marcus Sorenson on a breakaway, giving the Sharks forward a penalty shot. On the penalty shot, Talbot came up with a huge stop, denying Sorenson with his glove.

5:51: A hooking penalty on Adam Larsson gave the Sharks their fourth power play of the game.

12:57: San Jose received a penalty with 13 minutes to go in the second after Justin Braun hooked McDavid.

15:20: Oilers even it up after a point shot by Oscar Klefbom ricochets off the leg of San Jose’s Tomas Hertl in front onto the stick of Connor McDavid, who makes no mistake and puts the puck into the yawning cage. | EDM 1, SJ 1
