15:43: The Oilers looked to build off the penalty shot stop when San Jose received a bench minor for having too many men on the ice nearly five minutes into the final frame.

17:41: Matt Benning hauled down Marcus Sorenson on a breakaway, giving the Sharks forward a penalty shot. On the penalty shot, Talbot came up with a huge stop, denying Sorenson with his glove.
