06:10: Oilers are running out of time late. Maroon misses wide on a chance.

SECOND PERIOD

01:25: Rinne with a monster stop. Oilers fourth line almost got the equalizer.
06:11: Another Preds flurry. Talbot shuts it down.
07:45: A flurry of chances for the Preds yields no results. Talbot is there to make the saves.
09:53: Maroon and McLeod are both back and in the boxes.
12:48: Out of nowhere, Maroon goes after McLeod and the two big men start swinging. Tough fight. Both retreat to the dressing rooms.
15:00: An interference penalty gives the Oilers another crack at the power play.

FIRST PERIOD
00:00: All tied up through 20 minutes of play. | EDM 0, NSH 0
00:35: Caggiula with a nice move and a shot on net, shorthanded. Rinne turns him away.
02:06: Adam Larsson gets called for holding. Oilers back to the PK.
04:46: Big save by Talbot on Neal and the rush goes back the other way.
05:19: Talbot covers a loose puck, Arvidsson takes an extra whack at it and is chased down by Brandon Davidson.
06:58: The Oilers are headed to the penalty kill. Caggiula gets sent off for a hook.
09:34: Maroon is out of the box and the top line has a nice rush, but Rinne makes the save.
11:47: Oilers get caught with too many on the ice, so it’s 4-on-4 hockey for a little bit, then the Oil will have to kill off some time shorthanded.
13:21: The Oilers get their first power play of the game. Forsberg goes to the box for interference.
13:26: The Predators record the first shot of the game.
14:21: Adam Larsson with a hip check along the Nashville bench.
15:28: Cam Talbot covers a puck at the post, a scrum ensues behind the net.
