18:10: Pouliot has some space shorthanded but can’t bury.
19:04: Larsson gets a double minor for a high-stick… Oilers have four minutes to kill.
19:30: Couture has a point-blank opportunity but he shoots it high.

SECOND PERIOD

10:51: Penalty killed.

FIRST PERIOD

03:09: Talbot makes a huge save on a 2-on-1 then loses the puck beneath him. Carpenter is poking at it when Maroon steamrolls him with a big hit. Scrum ensues.
04:25: Russell shoots the puck and there’s an opportunity for Eberle backdoor but the winger was tied up with a Shark. Oilers lead in shots 8-7.
07:45: McDavid splits the defence and has two guys all over him and still manages to get a shot off and almost score.

11:28: The Oilers get a turnover and Kassian snaps a shot on net but Jones makes the glove save.
