0.0: A not-so-inspiring second period sees the Oilers head into the second intermission down 2-1 and with only 10 shots.

1:17: POST OUT! McDavid shorthanded rings it off the bar and back across the crease. What a chance!

2:27: McLeod returns the favour with a hooking penalty down low in the Oilers end.

3:02: Can’t put it away! McDavid can’t handle Nugent-Hopkins’ quick feed in front before his attempt is eaten up by Hart.

1.9: RIGHT OFF THE DRAW!!! TYSON BARRIE WRISTS ONE HOME!!! With mere seconds left in the period, Draisaitl wins a draw back to the defender who wasted no time getting it off his stick and beating Carter Hart high glove. | EDM 1, PHI 1

6.0: Late in the period, Evan Bouchard gets high-sticked by Farabee to set up an Oilers power play!
