11:15: The Devils move the puck well coming into the Oilers zone and it leads to Damon Severson getting a clean look in the slot to beat Skinner, who stumbled as he moved to face the shot. Bratt and Hughes each pick up their second points of the night. | NJD 3, EDM 1

14:45: Skinner fumbles a clearance and it leads to an easy tap-in for Dawson Mercer. | NJD 2, EDM 1

17:36: McDavid with a great rush but he puts it high on Vanecek, who covers it up before the net’s taken off.

6:47: POWER-PLAY PICKS ONE UP!!! Jesse Puljujarvi was a force in front of the net, causing Jonas Siegenthaler to fall and have Leon Draisaitl’s pass meant for Puljujarvi from the left circle go off the Devils’ defenders stick and in. | EDM 1, NJD 1

8:48: Klim Kostin sauces a pass through to McDavid, who makes a dirty move and draws a hooking penalty!

15:25: Erik Haula gets his stick into the hands of Leon Draisaitl and in pulls him down for a penalty. The Oilers will have the chance to respond from that PPG against with one of their own!

17:35: They cash in. Jesper Bratt drops to one knee in the slot and sends a one-timer far side on Skinner. | NJD 1, EDM 1

17:57: Klim Kostin gets tagged with a holding penalty at the Devils blueline. Early PP to the hosts.
