0.0: OILERS WIN!!! PRESEASON OVER!!! The Oilers storm back in the third thanks to a crazy last five minutes where they scored three to win 5-3 over the Seattle Kraken in their exhibition finale. Leon Draisaitl gets four points, while Tyson Barrie has a goal and assist and Jesse Puljujarvi has a good game with a goal. We’ll play for real on Wednesday when the Vancouver Canucks visit Rogers Place for the regular-season opener.

1:58: GOALS GALORE!!! Evander Kane puts Edmonton back ahead after a seeing-eye pass from Draisaitl along the boards ALL THE WAY to the back post. What a look. | EDM 4, SEA 3

15:04: PULJUJARVI EVENS IT UP!!! The big Finn finishes off a beautiful tic-tac-toe passing play after Tyson Barrie fed it low to McDavid, who one-touched it across the crease to the backdoor. Jesse’s had a solid game so far and finally gets rewarded for it. | EDM 2, SEA 2

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: 40 minutes in the books and the Kraken lead by one.

3:30: Kane goes across the zone to Puljujarvi off a neutral-zone turnover but the shot is swallowed by the crest of Philipp Grubauer.

8:05: Cody Ceci’s cross-checked by Morgan Geekie and the Oilers head to the PP.

8:49: Burakovsky misses a wide-open cage, but the puck somehow bounces in front and Matty Beniers gets to the rebound before he’s swarmed by Oilers. | SEA 2, EDM 1

15:39: Campbell with a terrific sequence of saves! Like in the first period, the Kraken have started out of the gate with the majority of pressure and the Oilers have been bailed out by their netminder.

20:00: The second period is ON!!!

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: The Oilers tie it up late on the PP through Barrie to take us into the intermission tied 1-1.

32.9: BARRIE ABSOLUTE SNIPE!!! The d-man tees up a one-timer from the top of the Kraken zone and it’s rocketed into the top-left corner. Leon Draisaitl made the dish from the right side after the shooting opportunity didn’t open up for him, and Ryan Nugent-Hopkins gets the secondary helper. | EDM 1, SEA 1

59.0: Late power-play opportunity for the Oilers with Will Borgen in the box for tripping Evan Bouchard.

7:01: Daniel Sprong springs to a rebound at the left of Edmonton’s net and puts it over Campbell’s pad. | SEA 1, EDM 0
