4:51: TWO-AND-OKANAGAN!!! The Oilers get an early Battle of Alberta victory here in Penticton at the Young Stars Classic with a 4-1 win over the Flames Rookies. Dylan Holloway nets two, including the empty-netter, after goals from James Hamblin and Noah Philp. We’ll try to make it a perfect Rookie Camp with a win on Monday against the Flames Rookies.
1:32: DOUBLE STOP RODRIGUE! The guy is leaving nothing to chance up three goals.

9:42: Kesselring and Klapka drop the gloves soon after the restart for a spirited tilt. All the makings of a great Battle of Alberta here in Penticton.
10:00: HOLLOWAY UP!!! Number 55 drags inside and snipes it blocker side on Wolf. Hamblin kicked it to him in the neutral zxone and drove hard ot the net, drawing a Flame and opening up some space for the former University of Wisconsin Badger, who gets one past his hometown team. | EDM 3, CGY 1
18:02: Philp gets loose for two chances in close on Wolf but the Flames netminder is up to the challenge with two stops.
20:00: Third frame underway! There were penalties to Phil Kemp and Cole Schwindt at the end of the second, so we’ll start 4-on-4.
SECOND PERIOD
0.0: Rough stuff at the final buzzer of the second period after a puck was put on Rodrigue late, but Hamblin’s goal has us ahead 2-1 through 40 minutes.
3:21: Walker Duehr intercepts it in the Flames zone and goes in alone, but rings it off the post!
4:30: Back behind an icing, Hamblin is cross-checked by Adam Klapka and it earns the Flames forward a penalty.
12:13: HAMBLIN!!! THE CAPTAIN!!! The Edmonton, AB product gets his second of the tournament on a clean look from the slot glove side on Wolf after Bourgault made a terrific pass. | EDM 2, CGY 1

15:29: Dino Kambeitz gets his legs swept by Ilya Solovyov in front. Another Oilers PP coming up!
17:49: Hamblin with a great read to pick off a pass along the point and go in on a partial breakaway, but he’s forced into a slapshot that nestles into Wolf’s chest. A great read nonetheless by the captain!
18:26: Michael Kesselring sends it over the glad for a Delay of Game penalty.
19:14: Phil Kemp drops low for a one-timer but Wolf makes a good save on the early Edmonton chance.

FIRST PERIOD
0.0: Great opening frame sees the Flames and Oilers Rookies tied 1-1 on the scoreboard and 9-9 in shots!
2:53: OLIVIER!!! Monster stop on the penalty kill at the right post by the Chicoutimi, QC product keeps things level.
4:32: Jeremy Hanzel heads to the box for holding, giving Calgary their first man advantage.
8:43: Wrist shot from Jack Beck at the top of the circle gets tipped in by Connor Zary, who knocks Rodrigue into the net in the process. Tie game. | EDM 1, CGY 1
12:54: Great flow and chances in this game so far, with Dylan Holloway forcing Wolf into a sharp stick save on that powerplay.
