19:38: OILERS GOAL! Milan Lucic finds a creeping Matthew Benning who rips one past Jones. | SJ 4, EDM 2

SECOND PERIOD
00:00: 4-1 for the Sharks heading into the third frame. Shots are 24-21 Edmonton.
1:57: Nugent-Hopkins fires a wrister from the Sharks kitchen but it’s stopped by Jones.
2:32: Maroon throws the puck at the net and it nearly trickles under the pads of Jones. Shots now 21-19 Edmonton.
8:57: Talbot stops a Marleau wrister from the right circle.

13:17: A few opportunities on the man-advantage but the Oil don’t convert. Shots now 19-17 Edmonton.
15:33: Patrick Marleau gets two minutes for high-sticking Jordan Eberle. Oilers have a chance to get within one.
16:08: McDavid slips the puck to Maroon on a two-on-one but he is denied by Jones.

FIRST PERIOD
00:00: San Jose leads Edmonton 2-1 at the end of the first. Shots are 13-8 Sharks.
17.9: A seeing-eye wrist shot from the blueline by Brent Burns finds its way to the back of the Oilers net just as the penalty expires. | SJ 2, EDM 1
2:22: Patrick Maroon gets a penalty for holding the stick. Oilers back to the penalty kill.
4:07: Drake Caggiula muscles the puck out from behind the net, slides it backhand past Jones to tie the match up | EDM 1, SJ 1
5:34: Near miss by Anton Lander after he swept the puck towards the Sharks’ net, followed by a solid shift by the Oilers top line.

10:29: San Jose neutralize the Oilers power play, go back the other way and force Cam Talbot to make a goalmouth save off a shot from the top of the crease.
