THIRD PERIOD

0.0: Dust off and look ahead to Game 5 on Tuesday night back at home. Oilers lose 4-0 and the series is tied at 2-2.

1:31: Empty-netter for Grundstrom. | LAK 4, EDM 0

2:52: 10-minute majors are flying now just to get this game over the line. Nurse and Ceci are both off, along with Moore.

3:11: Moore and Nurse head off for coincidental minors.

4:53: Grundstrom drives hard, outmuscles Nurse and the puck goes in as he crashes the net. A scrum ensues after. They looked at it for pushing it into the net but it counts. Woodcroft is going to challenge for goaltender interference. It counts, so Edmonton will now be short for two minutes. Three-goal Kings lead for now. | LAK 3, EDM 0

9:40: McDavid gives Roy a push to the back in the offensive zone and takes a cross-checking call.

10:11: Quick with a great kick save on an open look for Barrie. The LA netminder has been excellent tonight.

16:42: Mikey Anderson trudges to the box for holding McDavid in the blue paint as the captain went hard to the net.

20:00: The final frame has begun!

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: Same score after 40 minutes as it was after the first period. 2-0 Kings.

12.0: Nugent-Hopkins shows some frustration in a scrum with Mikey Anderson in the Kings corner. 4-on-4 hockey late in this frame.

1:52: Quick with three huge saves in a row, two without a glove, denying the Oilers a goal after having the majority of momentum in the last 10 minutes.

7:39: Great possession, but no shots on that powerplay.

10:24: McDavid is held on the rush, drawing Kopitar into taking a holding penalty.

13:09: Powerplay: No dice, and now the Oilers are going to the penalty kill. Ryan McLeod heads to the box for hooking.

14:25: Barrie loses it at the blueline but Smith is able to bail him out on the Danault breakaway. Phew.

15:09: Durzi takes down Yamamoto! It’s a way back into the game for Edmonton, whose powerplay is 5-for-11 this series.

20:00: The second period has begun! Work to do here.

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: Kulak is robbed point blank by Quick in the final play of the first period. Edmonton can build on their best sequence in the final minute heading into the intermission, but still trail 2-0.

5:57: Stecher’s point shot goes through the five-hole of Smith from the point after it struck Keith’s stick in front. It was all Kings in that 4-on-4, and has been all period with a 16-5 shot advantage. | LAK 2, EDM 0

7:47: Barrie and Lemieux mix it up after a whistle to give us coincidental roughing minors and 4-on-4 hockey.

11:51: Danault puts a backhand pass onto the tape of Moore to tap home at the back post after stretching Smith out. A good start for the Kings is rewarded. | LAK 1, EDM 0

12:46: Nurse tries to put McDavid’s feed on a 3-0n-2 rush five-hole on quick but he squeezes the gap shut. Great action here as we reach our first TV timeout.

17:44: Kassian in alone, makes a great move to fake out Quick but can’t finish! Looked like the LA netminder got a stick to it.

18:30: Trevor Moore hits the post! Crypto.com Arena thought it went in.

20:00: GAME ON!!! Let’s head home with the chance to win it!

Our boy Ben is in the building. You know they’ll be fired up for this one.

20:00: Teams are out on the ice for warm-ups!
