THIRD PERIOD

0:00: FREE HOCKEY COMING UP! Goals from Ryan and Broberg help the Oilers snag at least a point.

2:09: Oilers press on the powerplay with several chances around the Sharks net, but none find their way behind Reimer. Just a few minutes left in regulation.

8:15: BROBERG!!! The rookie ties the game with a snipe from the top of the left circle!!

9:20: Sharks goal. Nick Bonino with the tally.

10:23: OILERS GOAL! DEREK RYAN!!!! The Tyson Barrie point shot is tipped by Derek Ryan for the goal!

16:27: OILERS POWERPLAY!! Matt Nieto whistled for the hook!

20:00: Twenty minutes to make a comeback!

SECOND PERIOD

0:00: Period over. The goals came in bunches at the end of the frame with tallies by Mcleod, Yamamoto, and Reedy.

4:25: Sharks goal. Scott Reedy tips the Brent Burns shot past Koskinen to regain the lead.

7:08: WHAT A GOAL!!! Draisaitl collects the puck at the blueline, and spins a backhand pass to Yamamoto who beats Reimer from in close! TIE GAME!!

10:43: OILERS GOAL! RYAN MCLEOD!! After a couple of 10 bell saves by Reimer, the Oilers are able to jam in a rebound to cut the lead!

11:53: OILERS POWERPLAY! Mario Ferraro is whistled for the trip on Puljajarvi and is in the sin bin for two minutes or hopefully less.

12:27: A little flurry of action as Yamo floats a pass to Zach Hyman on the partial break, but the finish goes wide.

13:41: Almost midway through the second period and the defences have clamped down. No goals and only seven combined shots so far in the period.

20:00: Back underway at Rogers! Time to chip away!

FIRST PERIOD

0:00: First period in the books. Sharks get a pair of goals from Gregor just 26 seconds apart to exit with the lead.

8:22: HOW DID THAT NOT GO IN!? The Nugent-Hopkins, Foegele, Ryan line continues to buzz around James Reimer but cannot jam the puck across the goal line.

16:52: Gregor again. The Sharks forward tries the cross-crease pass and the puck deflects off an Oilers defenceman’s skate and past Koskinen.

17:18: Sharks goal. Noah Gregor walks in from the circle and snipes one blocker side to give San Jose the early lead. 

20:00: PUCK DROPPED AT ROGERS PLACE!!!
