0.0: Yamamoto and Perlini put the Oilers up by a pair in the middle frame. Skinner continues to hold it down in goal with 12 saves on the night.
2:26: LAMBORGHINI PERLINI 🏎️! Duncan Keith releases a point shot and Brendan Perlini swipes it right past Murray for his third of the campaign! Keith and Colton Sceviour earn the assists. | EDM 3, OTT 1
2:45: Draisaitl makes a nifty dish to McDavid and he quickly fires a low shot that Murray kicks aside. Shots are 23-12 in favour of Edmonton.
7:42: YAMS 🍠! Warren Foegele airs an area pass to Yamamoto for a partial break, and he slides a backhander under Murray to pot his eighth goal of the season! | EDM 2, OTT 1
8:05: Kailer Yamamoto gets a great look from prime real estate but Murray deflects the shot with his shoulder to keep it a tie game.
12:22: The Oilers fail to convert on Gaudette’s minor. Nurse brings down Zach Sanford in front of the net and is whistled for interference at the other end. Edmonton heads to the PK.
17:23: Adam Gaudette gets his stick caught in Darnell Nurse’s skates to warrant a tripping minor. Edmonton goes back to the man advantage.

FIRST PERIOD
0.0: Kassian’s strike puts the Oilers and Sens into a 1-1 deadlock after 20 minutes. Edmonton peppers Murray with 16 shots on goal while Ottawa musters six.
47.2: KASSIN’ IN! Draisaitl finds Zack Kassian in the slot and he makes no mistake, sending a wrist shot glove side past Murray for his fifth of the year and the equalizer. Draisaitl gets the lone helper. | EDM 1, OTT 1
2:27: McDavid winds up for an individual rush, drawing a holding minor against Erik Brannstrom. The Oilers will get 1:05 of 5-on-3 time to work with.
3:22: Draisaitl gets hooked by compatriot Tim Stützle, giving the Oilers their first man advantage of the evening.
7:15: Evan Bouchard rips a wrister that Senators keeper Matt Murray stops and a flurry ensues as Zach Hyman fishes for the rebound to no avail.
9:25: Norris squeaks a shot 5-hole on Skinner after being left all alone in the slot. | OTT 1, EDM 0
9:58: Tyson Barrie is shown the gate for sending the puck out of play. The Senators get the game’s first power play.
11:51: McDavid loses possession of the puck during a net drive with Brady Tkachuk draped over him. The Oilers are still looking for their first shot of the game.
14:01: Sens forward Nick Paul attacks the O-zone then fires the first shot of the game, which Skinner grabs easily.
17:02: McDavid shakes past an Ottawa defender then looks cross-ice to Draisaitl for the one-timer but he whiffs on it. At the other end, Josh Norris goes outside-inside on William Lagesson then chips a shot high and wide.
20:00: Let the game begin! The Oilers look to snap a five-game skid in their first match back following a 10-day layoff. Netminder Stuart Skinner gets the nod in net, Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl partner up on the top line while the back end sees new defence pairings.
