SECOND PERIOD
0.0: Hyman and Draisaitl strike and Koskinen turns aside 11 of 12 shots in the second stanza to put the Oilers in charge 3-2 for the final 20.
1:42: Koskinen flashes the leather on Roy’s quick release from the right slot. The keeper has 17 saves tonight.
5:44: What a display as the Oilers chain the puck around masterfully on the man advantage but several blocked shots plus a post keep Edmonton from securing the insurance.
8:44: The Oil get a 5-on-3 of their own after McDavid’s net drive. Shea Theodore sits two minutes for hooking.

FIRST PERIOD
0.0: Nicolas Hague’s wrister beats Koskinen but not the iron as the horn sounds with EDM and VGK tied at one-all. Hyman has his fourth goal of the year and Koskinen has nine stops.
1:23: Consider it killed! The Oilers do a great job of getting into lanes and preventing Vegas from establishing much danger over the two-man advantage.
3:32: Kossu! The keeper stops Smith’s backhander but Nurse is guilty of hooking right before, sending the Golden Knights to a 5-on-3 advantage.
3:55: Tyson Barrie is whistled for holding as Vegas goes up a man for two minutes.
5:09: The Oilers flip the script and now hold a 7-4 shot advantage over the home side.
11:23: The Specialist! Hyman parks in front then deposits a loose puck to notch the equalizing goal just 22 seconds into the man advantage! The utility forward had a shorthanded and PPG last night, and has four goals on the year! McDavid gets his sixth helper of the year while Leon Draisaitl nets his seventh. | EDM 1, VGK 1
11:45: Reilly Smith grabs ahold of Duncan Keith to send him to the ice, warranting a penalty against. The Oilers 50 percent powerplay goes to work!
