20:00: The third period has begun with the Oilers on the power play.

0.0: The Oilers fail to put one past Price through 40 minutes. Shots are 27-26 Edmonton heading into the 3rd. The Oilers will have 41 seconds of power-play time to work with when the period begins.
1:19: Drouin gets his stick twisted with Bear. He’ll go off for hooking. Edmonton looking to pounce on the power play.

0.0: The Oilers escape the 1st down 1-0 but will have a full man advantage to work with once the second period begins as Shea Weber is called for interference.
2:31: Connor McDavid catches a bounce and darts in all alone on Price but can’t slip it 5-hole on the netminder. Montreal dictating much of the play in the first.

20:00: Tonight’s Hockey Night in Canada match has begun! Josh Archibald moves up to the Oilers top line as Zack Kassian becomes a late scratch due to the expecting birth of his newborn! Tyler Ennis slots in alongside Kyle Turris and Jesse Puljujarvi, while Joakim Nygard, Devin Shore and Alex Chiasson form line four.
