0.0: It’s over. The Oilers are bounced from the 2020 Stanley Cup Qualifiers after losing 3-2 in Game 4 to the Blackhawks.

2:03: Koskinen tries to get to the bench for the extra attacker but hesitates, giving the Oilers a too many men call.

8:01: Kassian whacks at a loose puck at the side of the net but Crawford gets a glove on it. Oilers are fighting for their lives now late.

11:30: Kubalik sneaks a shot short side to give the Blackhawks a third-period lead. | CHI 3, EDM 2

12:31: Neal tires to deposit Draisaitl’s cross-crease feed on the man advantage but somehow it stays out. Oilers are 0-for-5 on the power play tonight.

15:34: The second line keeps buzzing, this time drawing a cross-checking penalty against Drake Caggiula.

16:28: SO CLOSE! Klefbom’s point shot sits in the crease but Athanasiou’s follow-up dings the post to stay out.

16:54: Keith lets one go from the high slot and Koskinen covers it up.

18:20: A couple quick looks on the power play but nothing beats Crawford.

20:00: The third period begins with the Oilers on the power play.

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: The second frame ends deadlocked at 2-2. Edmonton will get 1:50 of power-play time to start the 3rd. Shots after 40 are 24-21 EDM, who are fighting to stay alive in the series.

10.9: The Oilers push late in the period and get rewarded for it. Dominik Kubalik takes a slashing penalty to give the Oilers another man advantage.

1:03: A few Grade-A chances come from Dach, Kane and later Toews but Koskinen has the answer.

2:02: Good news for the Orange & Blue as Bear returns to the ice after taking that hard check from DeBrincat.

4:58: McDavid glides inside the slot then flips a backhander on net but nobody can get a blade on the rebound.

7:33: DeBrincat dings a hotshot from the slot off the outside post.

10:31: Klefbom hammers a point shot but Crawford makes a big kick save to keep it out. Neal and Chiasson later almost score off a rebound but the Chicago netminder is there to foil the opportunity.

15:12: Nurse is called for interference. We’ll get 4-on-4 hockey for two minutes then the Oilers will get a condensed power play for 44 seconds.

17:28: Alex DeBrincat staples Ethan Bear from behind, causing Bear to stay on the ice. The Oilers defender is helped off the ice and heads straight to the dressing room. DeBrincat gets a five-minute major for boarding. Huge opportunity for the Oilers now.

17:58: NUUUUUUUUGE! Nugent-Hopkins cleans up the garbage in front just as the power play expires to even the score at 2-2! That’s his second goal and eighth point of the series! McDavid picks up an assist for two points on the night. | EDM 2, CHI 2

20:00: The second period begins with the Oilers on their first man advantage of the evening.

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: The period ends with a 2-1 score for Chicago but Edmonton will start the second with a full two-minute power play after Highmore got his stick up on Chiasson. Shots are 12-9 CHI after the 1st.

1:56: Koskinen makes a big glove save on Patrick Kane to keep the ‘Hawks from scoring on the power play.

4:06: Nurse grabs ahold of Jonathan Toews in front of the net, warranting a holding penalty. The Oilers go to the penalty kill for the first time tonight.

6:48: The Oilers are on a 5-0 shot run, with the latest being an Oscar Klefbom slapper which Crawford got a pad on.

8:35: Draisaitl sweeps the puck to the crease and Athanasiou swats a backhander at it but Crawford denies the attempt.

9:44: Koskinen makes a short-side stop on Kirby Dach. Shots are 7-2 Chicago halfway through the first period.

12:04: Matthew Highmore re-directs a Duncan Keith point shot to give the Blackhawks a 2-1 lead. | CHI 2, EDM 1
