THIRD PERIOD

0.0: WELCOME TO THE AFTER PARTY, CONDORSTOWN! The Condors take Game 3 by a score of 5-2, with five skaters registering multi-point nights. Game 4 goes Saturday at Rabobank Arena.

4:34: Shots are 41-17 as the Condors look to close this one out.

9:33: Condors go to the PP after Currie gets two for roughing and Mason Greertsen gets four.

9:34: The Eagles cause all sorts of chaos in front of Starrett but the keeper holds down the fort, kicking aside any pucks his way. Some rough stuff ensues after the whistle.

12:52: Bouchard gets two minutes for interference.

16:27: Benson tries to get nifty, taking a pass at the goal-line then getting a shot off through his legs. Francouz makes the stop.

18:24: Josh Currie gets tripped up by Sergei Boikov to give the Condors another man advantage.

20:00: The third period has begun!

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: The Condors continue to own much of the play, scoring four times in the second period and allowing two against. Shots are 35-10 Condors.

13.4: Starrett leaves his net to play a puck but it bounces off the boards awkwardly and finds its way to Sheldon Dries’ blade in the slot. He dumps it into an open cage to get the Eagles within three. | BAL 5, COL 2

2:18: FEAR THE BEARD! Polei scoops up a rebound and deposits in the back of the net for his second of the match and third point. Assists are awarded to Lowe and David Gust. | BAK 5, COL 1

4:31: The Condors kill Esposito’s minor then go to a power play of their own after A.J. Greer takes one.

6:43: Esposito gets sent to the box for two, putting the Condors on the penalty kill.

9:30: BOUCH MANE! The defender zips a quick shot from the blueline far side on Francouz for his THIRD POINT of the match and first goal in a Condors uniform. Assists go to Esposito and Lowe. | BAK 4, COL 1

12:30: The Eagles reply with a quick one, as Anton Lindholm gets a net-front feed and chips it by Starrett. The goal came at 4-on-4 because Mitch Callahan and Cody Bass were mixing it up at the faceoff circle, both getting coincidental minors.

12:46: AND ANOTHER! The Condors make it 3-0 after a seeing-eye point shot from Bouchard gets tipped in front by Polei. All three players now have two points on the night, as they each factored in on Stanton’s goal in the first. | BAK 3, COL 0

14:26: GAMBA! Gambardella glides into the slot and accepts a perfect feed from Luke Esposito, putting it up and over Francouz’s shoulder. Gambardella picks up his first of the postseason on the play. | BAK 2, COL 0

16:27: The Eagles come out with some jump, drawing a Tyler Benson hooking minor. Condors go to the penalty kill for the second time tonight.

20:00: The second period has begun!

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: The Condors absolutely dominate the first period of Game 3, throwing 17 shots at Francouz and allowing just one against on Shane Starrett. Stanton gets the lone goal, which gives Bakersfield a 1-0 lead to enter the second period.

4:55: Bouchard puts a low snapshot on net and Gambardella gets a crack at the rebound but can’t put it in.

6:53: It’s ALL Condors more than halfway through the first period with the club leading 1-0 on the scoreboard and 7-0 in the shot count.

9:40: GO. CRAZY. CONDORSTOWN! Ryan Stanton takes a clapper from the point that hits a body in front and beats Francouz. Bouchard gets an assist on the play as the Condors take the lead in the first! | BAK 1, COL 0

9:51: Patrick Russell drops the puck for Ethan Bear and the defender releases a howitzer that Francouz gets a piece of.

11:29: The Condors suppress Colorado’s power play, not letting the club set up for the entire two minutes. Eagles forward Michael Joly goes to the sin bin for tripping after it expires, sending the Condors on the man advantage for the first time tonight. Bouchard is on the ice with the club’s PP unit.

16:07: The Condors get the game’s first penalty. Lowe gets two minutes for holding.

19:03: Keegan Lowe registers the Condors’ first shot on goal with a floater from the point. Pavel Francouz makes a catch save.

20:00: Game 3 has begun! It appears as though the Condors will go with 11 forwards and seven defencemen, meaning Evan Bouchard will make his Condors debut.
