15:36: Zach Hyman got called for roughing to put the Oilers back on the power play.

16:01: Stolarz made a brilliant glove save on Patrick Marleau’s backhand redirect from the top of the crease.

1:20: Kris Russell lost his stick on the penalty kill but did a good job getting his body in front of the puck a few times and the Oilers were eventually able to clear the puck out of harm’s way.

2:11: Draisaitl got called for slashing to send the Leafs back on the PP.

4:43: The penalty was killed off, with the best chance actually going to Leon Draisaitl who elected to shoot on a two-on-one. Fredrik Andersen made the save.

6:43: The first penalty of the game went to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins for hooking Andreas Johnsson in the corner of the Oilers zone, giving the Leafs the power play.

10:08: Anthony Stolarz came up large in his first big test of the night. He denied John Tavares at the top of the crease on a backhand and then stuck out his left pad to stop Tavares on the rebound.
