3:02: Alex Iafallo cleared the puck over the Oilers bench from his own zone and the result was a late Oilers power play.

7:07: Shots now 28-27 for the Oilers as the PK was excellent.

10:01: Nugent-Hopkins got called for hooking, putting the Kings on the man advantage.

12:55: Shots on goal were 27-25 for the Kings with less than 13 minutes to play.

16:06: Tyler Toffoli’s backhand from the side boards went through the legs of Koskinen to put the Kings in front. Oilers challenged the play, arguing it was offside and won the challenge.

10:34: McDavid got around Drew Doughty but was held up by the Kings defenceman and unable to generate a scoring chance. Result was a penalty to Doughty and the first power play of the game for Edmonton.

13:12: McDavid makes a great individual effort, driving to the net and getting the puck on goal. He’s then slammed to the ice in the corner well after the play by Dustin Brown with no call.

15:00: Five minutes into the game, shots on goal were 5-4 for the Kings.

18:39: DID HE SCORE? JESSE DID! Jesse Puljujarvi skated in and poked a rebound past Kings netminder Jonathan Quick after the initial shot was taken by Drake Caggiula off the rush. The play was reviewed for goaltender interference and it was determined to be a good goal. | EDM 1, LA 0
