10:23: Koskinen made a big stop on Evander Kane in front of the net to keep the game tied.

12:26: Jujhar Khaira created a partial breakaway and forced Erik Karlsson to hook him from behind, negating the Sharks man advantage.

12:37: The Oilers took their third penalty of the game when Drake Caggiula was called for high sticking.

13:04: Shots were 14-8 for the Sharks nearly six minutes into the second period.

18:14: SHORTY! Leon Draisaitl threaded the needle to Ryan Nugent-Hopkins who tucked the puck in under the crossbar and tied the game up with one second left in the penalty to Kassian. | EDM 2, SJ 2

14.0: Zack Kassian got called for hooking late in the period to send the Sharks back on the man advantage.

2:12: Tomas Hertl got in behind the Oilers defence and broke in all alone but his breakaway attempt was denied by Koskinen.

8:19: The first penalty of the game went to the Oilers as Oscar Klefbom got called for slashing.

10:00: Kris Russell went awkwardly into the boards and skated off favouring his hand.

11:51: CONNOR TIES IT! McDavid takes a quick pass from the side of the net by Leon Draisaitl and slips it inside the far post past Sharks netminder Martin Jones to even the game up. The goal was McDavid’s 100th in his NHL career. | EDM 1, SJ 1
