6:15: Hutton made a big glove save off a blast from the left point by Benoit Pouliot.

12:26: Tempers flared after Patrick Maroon poked at a loose puck as Hutton tried to smother it in his crease. Result was two minutes in penalties for roughing for both Maroon and Blues defenceman Joel Edmundson.

12:30: Talbot made a quick pad stop after the puck was deflected by Ryan Reaves following a point shot from Kevin Shattenkirk.
15:40: The Blues had another chance to score just over a minute later and this time they converted. A turnover at the blueline resulted in the puck on the stick of Kyle Brodziak. Brodziak didn’t get a lot on his shot but enough to sneak by low glove side on Talbot and open the scoring. | STL 1, EDM 0
17:00: Cam Talbot came up with a huge stop early on, gloving a blast from in-close by Jori Lehtera during a scramble in front of the Oilers net.
