11:36: The puck skips over Ryan Nugent-Hopkins’ blade as he was looking at a prime opportunity all alone on Hogberg.
14:38: Nurse drives down low and flips a backhander on Hogberg but the puck-stopper makes a chest save.

0.0: Draisaitl’s remarkable second goal of the game puts the Oilers up 2-1 heading into the third. Koskinen stays sharp in goal with 12 second-period saves. Edmonton will look to close it out in the final 20.

6:08: The Oilers get hemmed in their zone due to some hard forechecking and good puck-movement by the Senators. Koskinen stops Tkachuk and then deflects a point shot out of play for the whistle.
9:25: After EDM out-shot the Sens 17-7 in the first, shots are deadlocked at 4-4 midway through the second.
13:42: McDavid streaks for the cage but loses the puck ahead of the crease. The Oilers get one shot on goal on the man advantage.
16:17: Puljujärvi staples Ryan Dzingel into the boards and Zub takes exception, immediately engaging with the Finn. As a scrum ensues, Brady Tkachuk gets Draisaitl’s attention and hauls him down, forcing Nurse to intervene. Oilers gain a power play after everything is said and done.

2:06: Clark Bishop grabs ahold of McDavid and drags him down. Edmonton will go back to the power play after scoring on their first attempt.
3:06: Thomas Chabot fires from the half-wall and Koskinen kicks it aside. Josh Archibald later dishes to Devin Shore crashing for the net but the shorthanded attempt is foiled by Hogberg.
5:23: Bear takes an interference penalty against Tim Stützle. Sens get a chance to respond on the man advantage.

9:16: Artem Zub defends against Draisaitl a bit too hard, warranting an interference minor against Ottawa. Edmonton goes to the power play.
10:41: Darnell Nurse blasts a point shot that bounces off the end boards to Draisaitl, who can’t place his shot past an extended Hogberg.
13:11: Ethan Bear recovers on an offensive zone pinch to get the puck to Khaira in the slot but he sends a shot wide. Like McDavid, Khaira appears to be skating with some zip early after a pair of good looks.
16:01: Jujhar Khaira dings the iron with a sizzling wrister then McDavid speeds in for an individual rush but is stopped by the glove of Hogberg. The Oilers Captain has 16 points in seven games against Ottawa this season and is flying already.
17:52: Head Coach Dave Tippett decides to unite the Oilers Dynamic Duo of Connor McDavid and Leon Draisaitl alongside Jesse Puljujärvi. They start the game with a dangerous shift right off the hop.
