0.0: Play Tarzan Boy! The Oilers shut it down late to secure the back-to-back series sweep of the Senators. Draisaitl and McDavid’s 10-game point streaks come to an end as the Oilers blueline powers them to their second straight win. Koskinen stops 40 of 42 shots for his sixth victory of the season! Edmonton will be back in action on Thursday at Montreal.

1:13: Nick Paul intercepts Barrie’s clearing attempt then walks in and fires a shot. Koskinen challenges it to make the save. Ottawa pulls Murray for the extra attacker.
4:46: Chabot sends a knuckle puck at the net and Koskinen gets enough of it with his glove to keep it out. The Oilers continue to hang onto their one-goal lead despite being out-shot 24-8 in the 2nd and 3rd.
8:57: The Sens just won’t go away. Mike Reilly steps into a slap shot and hammers the post, getting his club that close to tying it up. Shots are 7-5 OTT in the 3rd.
15:21: Leon Draisaitl gets a pair of good looks from the offensive zone circles but Murray pumps his chest out on both attempts. Oilers go 0-for-1 on the man advantage.
18:16: Josh Norris takes a tripping minor against Tyler Ennis. Edmonton gets their first power play of the evening.
18:40: Evgenii Dadonov sneaks in behind Slater Koekkoek for a partial break and slips the puck through Koskinen to get the Sens within one. | EDM 3, OTT 2

SECOND PERIOD
0.0: The Oilers are in control through 40 minutes, leading 3-1 with all three goals coming from defencemen. Shots are 25-15 Ottawa.
27.0: Brady Tkachuk leans into a wrist shot but Koskinen flashes the leather to make the stop.
2:26: Shots are 12-2 Ottawa in the middle stanza but the Oilers continue to lead 3-1.
8:02: The Sens register just a single shot on net from Archibald’s double-minor.
12:06: Archibald gets his stick up on Sens defender Thomas Chabot. Ottawa will head to the power play for four minutes as Chabot draws blood to warrant a double-minor.

0.0: The Oilers blueline comes through in the first with a pair of goals to provide the team with a 2-1 lead heading into the 2nd period. Shots are 12-11 after 20.
2:41: BOUCH! Evan Bouchard fools Hogberg with a seeing-eye wrist shot through a forest of bodies in front for his 1st goal of the season and second of his career! Khaira picks up a helper off the draw for his second of the period! | EDM 2, OTT 1
3:38: Edmonton tilts the ice in their favour with a great shift. The club cycles the puck from low to high then Tyler Ennis sweeps it on net but Hogberg is able to cover it for the whistle.
4:44: Quick pace to this one already as the period nears a close. Shots are 9-5 OTT.
10:06: Brown and Alex Galchenyuk test Koskinen as the Sens apply pressure but the keeper protects the cage with consecutive saves.
15:49: DR. TWO-FIVE! Darnell Nurse hammers a one-timer from outside and it leaks under Hogberg’s wickets. The Oilers defender continues to produce from the back end.
