Goals from Kassian and Draisaitl and a monstrous 30:32 of ice time from Oscar Klefbom. We’ll see you in St. Louis on Wednesday!

2:37: Tyler Seguin spoils the shutout. An early pull of Bishop pays off into a 2-1 game with less than three minutes left. EDM 2, DAL 1

5:47: Critical kill complete for the Oilers PK unit! 3-for-3 on the night.

7:49: Jones interferes with Joe Pavelski. Third PP of the night for the Stars.

9:10: Oilers up two goals on the scoreboard and two shots on the shot clock, 26-24, as we enter the final half of the final frame.

12:05: Call the Sheriff. Stars called for another trip, this time from former Oilers d-man Andrej Sekera, and the BLue and Orange head back to the power play.

20:00: Time to close it out. The third period commences!

SECOND PERIOD

0.0: We end the second period the same way we ended the first. Oilers carry a two-goal lead after 40 minutes!

5:33: McDavid with the shimmy at the Stars blue line and lets go a dangerous wrister that’s broken up. The captain looking sharp tonight!

8:51: Nugent-Hopkins trips up Comeau, evening us up at 4-on-4. A lot of trips in this one.

10:02: Stars continue their march to the penalty box. Jamie Oleksiak up ends Josh Archibald at the blue line.

17:36: Comeau the culprit again as he heads to the box for tripping Kassian. Oilers given their fourth opportunity with the man advantage.

18:40: A good penalty kill needs a sharp goaltender. Two big saves from Koski with the Oilers short. Penalty cleared!

20:00: We’re underway in the second!

FIRST PERIOD

0.0: The Oilers are ahead with a two-goal lead through 20 minutes thanks to Kassian and Draisaitl. We’ll play 4-on-4 for 12 seconds when the intermission concludes.

6:06: The Oil head back to the PP. Caleb Jones in his homecoming is hauled down by Jamie Benn in the Stars’ zone. Oilers couldn’t convert their first opportunity.

11:53: KASS ATTACK!!! Make it a dozen goals for the big man this season. From the slot, he throws home the go-ahead goal past an outstretched and out of position Ben Bishop off the feed from Connor McDavid. Darnell Nurse factors in with the secondary helper. EDM 1, DAL 0

18:50: Former Oiler Andrew Cogliano gets tangled up with Ethan Bear and heads off for tripping. PP to the Oilers!
