SECOND PERIOD
0.0: Bear’s late marker gives the Oilers a two-goal advantage heading into the third. Shots are 30-20 Edmonton after 40.
1:19: WAKE THE BEAR! Bear puts back McDavid’s cross-crease saucer pass to give the Oilers a two-goal lead. This one comes on the power play, with the helpers going to McDavid and Draisaitl. That’s Bear’s third of the year. | EDM 4, DAL 2
3:14: Blake Comeau hits Sam Gagner in the numbers, warranting a boarding penalty. The Oilers go to the man advantage for the third time today.
8:17: Alexander Radulov busts in on a partial break but his backhander is swallowed up by Koskinen.
9:24: Riley Sheahan cuts to the net and gets a backhander off but Khudobin shuts the door.
13:29: The Oilers pepper Khudobin with shot after shot and he scrambles to make the saves, somehow keeping the puck out.
16:26: JUUUUUUUUJ! Caamano’s penalty expires but McDavid rushes up ice and feeds Khaira who snipes far side on Bishop. The Oilers retake the lead thanks to Khaira’s second of the day! He now has three goals on the year. McDavid and Klefbom earn the apples. Anton Khudobin replaces Bishop in goal. | EDM 3, DAL 2
18:43: Caamano takes a hooking minor to give the Oilers their second power play of the day.
19:12: Benn finds Miro Heiskanen in front and he pings one in for the equalizer. | EDM 2, DAL 2

FIRST PERIOD
0.0: The Oilers concede the first goal of the game to Dickinson but get it right back and then take the lead, thanks to Khaira and Draisaitl. Shots are 11-9 EDM after 20.
33.5: EXTEND THAT STREAK TO 12! McDavid rushes to the paint and Draisaitl deposits the rebound to give the Oilers a late first-period lead. That’s goal 16, point 42 and a 12-game point streak for Draisaitl while McDavid and Nurse get the helpers. | EDM 2, DAL 1
1:51: Leon Draisaitl makes a quick pass to Kassian in the slot and his one-timer is foiled by Bishop.
5:42: OH MY MIKKO! Denis Gurianov wins a race to the puck and puts it on the net then Caamano hammers at the loose change but Koskinen kicks across for the HUGE glove save.
7:05: Another Bear point shot causes some mayhem in front of Bishop but Zack Kassian is checked in the blue paint, limiting him from getting the rebound.
10:52: THE OILERS GET IT RIGHT BACK! Jujhar Khaira muscles his way to the net and whips a wrister that squeaks through Bishop. This game is all tied up. | EDM 1, DAL 1
11:03: The Oilers can’t get the puck out of their zone and the Stars pounce. Jason Dickinson corrals a pass in the high slot and rings it bar down to open the scoring. | DAL 1, EDM 0
13:24: Stars captain Jamie Benn goes for the backhand wraparound but Mikko Koskinen keeps his paddle down to cover the puck.
14:10: Ethan Bear fires a puck from the point and Darnell Nurse slams at the rebound but Ben Bishop comes up big. The Oilers fail to score on their first man advantage.
16:46: The Oilers fourth line applies pressure and Markus Granlund draws a tripping minor against Nick Caamano. Edmonton gets the game’s first PP.
